Job summary

Mission Driven Research seeks a Senior Signature/Data Analyst to support the MDA Targets and Countermeasures program in debris model development, trajectory analysis, and on-site mission support.

You will develop data products like BETs, quick-look briefs, and launch times, coordinating test activities and reporting findings to leadership. Strong communication and defense-domain experience are essential, with interim Secret clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 20+ years of experience or Master's with 12+ years experience.
• Interim Security clearance.
• Experience in at least two areas: trajectory/kinematic simulation, EO/IR sensor exploitation, RF sensor exploitation, geodesy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well alone and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Support development, integration, analysis, and documentation of target analysis products for pre-mission and post-mission activities for all MDA Flight Tests.
• Plan test activities and provide recommendations for team assignments to support mission activities.
• Contribute to development of Target Vehicle notional trajectories, flight scenarios, and debris scenes.
• Deploy for test missions and develop data analysis products such as Target BET, Target Quick-look Brief, and Target Launch Time within 24 hours.
• Participate in target development and test planning activities and provide analysis and recommendations.
• Prepare technical reports and/or briefings on various technical aspects of Flight Test Targets.

MDR is looking for an amazing Senior Signature/Data Analyst to join our team! In this role you will support MDA Targets and Countermeasures program in solid fuel debris model development and validation, pre and post-flight trajectory analysis, and on-site mission support.

Job Description (What You'll Be Doing)

• Support the development, integration, analysis, and documentation of target analysis products for pre-mission and post-mission activities for all MDA Flight Tests
• Plan test activities and provide recommendations for team assignments to support mission activities
• Contribute to development of Target Vehicle notional trajectories, flight scenarios, and debris scenes
• Deploy for test missions and develop data analysis products such as Target Best Estimated Trajectory (BET), Target Quick-look Brief, and Target Launch Time within required 24-hour (quick-look) timeframe, ensuring accuracy of data products
• Participate in target development and test planning activities such as Target System Readiness Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, Target and Test Readiness Reviews, providing analysis and recommendations
• Prepare technical reports and/or briefings on various technical aspects of Flight Test Targets

Required Skills (What Required Skills You Bring)

• Bachelor's degree with 20+ years of experience, or Master's Degree with 12+ years experience.

• Experience in a minimum of 2 of the following areas: trajectory/kinematic simulation, EO/IR sensor exploitation, RF sensor exploitation, geodesy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well alone and with a team

• M.S. in Engineering or Physics
• Active Security Clearance desired.
• Experience working independently and/or leading sub-teams to analyze and resolve problems

• Familiar with STK software
• Experience with missiles, targets, missile defense systems or hypersonic weapons
