Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions in Nashua, NH seeks a Senior Signal Integrity Engineer to design, simulate, and validate high-speed connectors and interconnects. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop next-generation high-speed I/O products and contribute to customer support for new product introductions.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in signal integrity, electromagnetic principles, and SI measurements.

Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical Engineering; MS/PhD preferred for advanced roles.
  • 5+ years of industry experience with electromagnetic principles for digital SI.
  • Experience with high-speed connectors in communications equipment is a plus.
  • Experience with SI measurements and debugging with TDR, VNA, pattern generators, and error detectors.

Responsibilities

  • Design, simulation, characterization, and application of high-speed connectors and cable-based interconnects.
  • Component development and customer support for new product introductions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on next-generation high-speed I/O interconnects.
  • Share knowledge and pursue continuous improvement in methods and workflows.
  • Identify and resolve signal integrity issues in PCB layouts.
  • Design, build, and measure boards for SI verification.
  • Apply circuit theory and high-speed transmission principles to designs.
