Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Woodland Hills, CA is seeking a Staff Signal/Image Processing Engineer with a current Top Secret clearance to support sensor exploitation in the AI and Analytics group.

You will work with a team of engineers to develop and prototype algorithms, refine them on program databases, and collaborate with software engineers to implement in configured products. Strong MATLAB/Python skills and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

Active DoD Top Secret clearance required.
Willingness to work onsite full-time in Woodland Hills, CA.
Strong background in signal/image processing.
Experience with MATLAB and/or Python.
Excellent oral and written presentation skills.
Demonstrated experience leading technical teams.

Responsibilities

Introduce and develop new algorithm components for signal/image data exploitation.
Apply classical signal processing and machine learning to large datasets for pattern recognition, target detection and tracking.
Coordinate a small team of signal/image processing engineers.
Interface with software engineers to ensure robust, maintainable implementations.
Design a robust test suite.
Create presentations and brief stakeholders.
