Actalent is seeking a Computer Engineer III to lead research, development, and lifecycle support of SIGINT, EW, and COE systems aboard naval platforms. Work primarily in Linux-based environments with cross-disciplinary collaboration across development, testing, and deployment phases.

The role requires 6+ years in related electronic systems, plus hands-on RF and software integration, CONOPS experience, and strong troubleshooting skills in lab and field settings.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-time professional experience supporting SIGINT, EW, COE, or similar complex electronic systems.
• Experience in test design and integration for complex electronic or RF systems.
• Experience in software development or software integration within engineering or operational environments.
• Experience performing performance analysis and translating findings into improvements.
• Experience with CONOPS and applying them to system design, integration, and support.
• Experience providing lifecycle support for complex electronic or RF systems.
• Hands-on experience in Linux-based engineering or operational environments.
• Experience supporting software integration in operational or development systems.
• Experience evaluating operational systems to identify improvements.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate operational SIGINT, EW, and COE systems and recommend modifications to resolve malfunctions and improve performance.
• Support requirements gathering and contribute to software development, integration, testing, validation, and deployment.
• Assist field operations, including system installations, testing, and sustainment aboard naval platforms.
• Analyze system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-level issues.
• Support Linux-based environments used for development, testing, and deployment.
• Conduct research to identify obsolescence risks and support technology-refresh strategies.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation covering configuration, operation, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
• Collaborate with software, RF, systems, test, and other disciplines to meet requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff and support their development.
