Job summary
Halian | Managed Services, Recruitment Agency & Contract Staffing seeks an experienced Automation & Controls Engineer for advanced manufacturing and high-volume production environments. You will develop, commission, and optimize Siemens-based automation systems, including PLC programming, motion control, and safety architectures.
The role requires hands-on experience with TIA Portal, Siemens drives, HMI development, and MES integration, with a proven track record in commissioning and production
Qualifications
- Experience programming and troubleshooting Siemens PLCs in TIA Portal.
- Hands-on expertise with Siemens safety-integrated control systems.
- Background in automated manufacturing equipment in battery/EV/electronics/auto sectors.
- Knowledge of motion control, servo drives, axis synchronization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with machine safety functions and safety-related control architectures.
Responsibilities
- Develop, commission, and optimize automation systems for high-volume production.
- Support operational teams and resolve production issues to drive efficiency.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Validate and troubleshoot automation solutions across assembly, transfer, and material handling equipment.
