Job summary

SkyIO, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer specializing in Siemens PCS 7 to design, develop, commission, and support industrial automation solutions for manufacturing and process industries.

This role will work directly with customers to deliver complete automation projects from concept through startup while maintaining SkyIO's commitment to technical excellence and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent automation experience).
5+ years of industrial automation experience.
5+ years of hands-on Siemens PCS 7 engineering experience.
Strong understanding of process control, instrumentation, PID control loops, and batch/continuous processes.
Experience with industrial networking and communication protocols.
Ability to read electrical schematics, loop diagrams, P&IDs, and control narratives.
Strong troubleshooting skills in live manufacturing environments.
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
