• Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• Good math and measurement skills for pipe layouts and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the project Foreman on assigned projects and coordinates with other trades.
• Adheres to safety regulations before operating machinery and uses PPE.
• Maintains housekeeping and ensures tools are available per required list.
• Installs, repairs, alters and tests shipboard piping systems and components.
• Performs alignment, brazing and pressure testing as required.
