Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer in Fort Belvoir, VA to provide development support, create web parts, and configure workflows within a DoD/IC environment. The role involves SDL C/X, Agile practices, and mentoring junior staff while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

The Senior developer will work on applying HTML/CSS/JavaScript to intranet solutions, test across environments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet mission requirements.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in SharePoint development including custom code and web parts/workflows.
• Five years in SDLC/Agile/SCRUM/Lean processes and teams.
• Five years mentoring junior personnel on best practices.
• Five years documenting defects in a bug-tracking system and reporting to developers.
• Five years of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery work.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph eligibility.
• DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide SharePoint development support, including customized code and creating/modifying web parts and SharePoint workflows.
• Develop and test applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Perform software development unit testing, system testing, functional testing, UAT, and other testing.
• Adhere to SDLC, Agile, SCRUM, and Lean methodologies.
• Mentor junior personnel on proper practices and procedures.
• Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to developers and project managers.
• Collaborate with peers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure SharePoint solutions meet customer requirements.
• Support development, testing, and deployment of SharePoint applications across supported networks.
