METAL CRAFT in Elk River, MN is seeking an Experienced Setup Milling Machinist (first shift). The role requires operating and setting up milling machines, reading blueprints, and delivering precision parts for medical, aerospace and high-tech sectors.

Ideal candidates have an Associate Degree in machining and 5+ years of CNC setup/operation. Excellent detail, teamwork, and safety are valued; health and retirement benefits apply. Monday-Thursday schedule with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in machining.
• Minimum 5+ years of CNC Machinist experience with emphasis on set up and operation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate milling machines as defined in routings.
• Read blueprints, job routings, and tooling instructions.
• Edit and review programs; modify machine parameters when needed.
• Train and support others within the area.
• Ensure quality control documentation of tolerance zones.
