Job summary

Benefis Health System is seeking an Activities Aide to plan and lead daily activities for residents in skilled nursing facilities. You will assist residents to and from events and ensure active participation throughout activities.

You will work closely with residents and families to complete Life Enrichment assessments, aiming to enhance psychosocial well‑being and social engagement, while complying with all policies and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• CNA Certification required or obtained within 3 months of employment.
• 3–5 years’ experience as an Activities Aide or Social Services Designee in Long Term Care preferred.
• Valid Montana Driver’s License is required.

They work one‑on‑one with residents and their families to complete Life Enrichment assessments to plan for and provide the highest practicable level of psychosocial well‑being – especially as it relates to social and recreational needs. Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict. Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.

Education/License/Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent, required.
• Valid Montana Driver’s License CNA Certification required or obtained within 3 months of employment.
• CNA Experience preferred.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience as an Activities Aide or Social Services Designee in Long Term Care, preferred.
• Exemption Wage Non-Exempt Starting Wage $19.18/hourly Actual offered wage is based on applicable experience
