Job summary

iTech AG is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow solutions for a federal program in a secure, compliant environment. You will build high‑quality platform functionality, develop user portals, and collaborate with Agile teams.

The ideal candidate has hands-on ServiceNow development experience, knowledge of portal technologies, and can translate requirements into maintainable solutions while following federal standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Experience building custom ServiceNow applications and platform configurations.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs).
• Experience working in Agile or SAFe delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow solutions to support federal program requirements.
• Build and maintain custom applications, workflows, business rules, and UI policies.
• Develop and enhance ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM and CMDB functionality.
• Design, develop, and support ServiceNow portals and web-based user experiences, including Service Portal and/or UI Builder.
• Collaborate with ServiceNow Architects to implement scalable, standards-based solutions.
• Participate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
• Support platform upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow defects and production issues.
• Ensure configurations and customizations align with federal security and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing across the team.
• Other duties as assigned

iTech AG is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to support a federal program by designing, developing, and enhancing ServiceNow solutions in a secure, scalable, and compliant environment. This role serves as a senior technical contributor responsible for building high-quality platform functionality, developing user-facing portals, and supporting core ServiceNow capabilities aligned to mission and business needs.The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience, deep familiarity with portal technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively within Agile and SAFe delivery environments. This role requires a developer who can translate requirements into maintainable, performant ServiceNow solutions while adhering to federal standards and best practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
• Strong experience developing custom ServiceNow applications and platform configurations
• Proficiency with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs)

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator (CSA)

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

CIS – ITSM certification
