Woda Cooper Companies, Inc. seeks a Senior Service Technician to support maintenance operations across a portfolio of affordable housing communities in Ohio.

The role involves preventative maintenance, complex repairs, apartment turns, and problem-solving across multiple properties. You will work closely with Community Managers, Service Technicians, and regional leadership to keep communities safe, functional, and well-maintained while delivering exceptional resident service and upholding the

Competenze

Must be at least 18 with a high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to read and speak English and follow oral and written directions.
Previous maintenance experience preferred.

Perform general and emergency maintenance of apartments and common areas.
Create and maintain a customer-centered service culture by providing proactive hospitality with prospects, residents, family members and fellow team members.
Maintain an attractive community appearance and curb appeal.
Perform turnover of apartments, including trash out, cleaning, painting, carpet shampooing and other repairs as directed.
Respond to safety hazards and ensure walkways are clear, especially during winter months.
Document monthly property inspections for defects and safety concerns.
Be available for emergency calls after hours and on weekends and holidays as assigned.

As a Senior Service Technician, you'll support maintenance operations across a portfolio of affordable housing communities throughout Ohio, including:

Alston Park – Cincinnati, OH
Audubon Crossing – Dayton, OH
Fox Run Crossing – Piketon, OH
Frankfort Place – Frankfort, OH
Linden Greene – Jamestown, OH
Riverview Place – Ripley, OH
Webster Glen & Webster Greene – Peebles, OH
Hayden House – Springfield, OH

In this travel role, you'll provide advanced maintenance support across multiple communities by performing preventative maintenance, completing complex repairs, assisting with apartment turns, troubleshooting building systems, and supporting property teams with maintenance needs. Working closely with Community Managers, Service Technicians, and regional leadership, you'll help ensure each community remains safe, functional, and well‑maintained while delivering exceptional service to residents and supporting Woda Cooper's commitment to quality affordable housing.

Duties & Responsibilities

Interact positively with residents and the public to enhance the community image and ensure superior resident retention.
Perform general and emergency maintenance of apartments and common areas.
Create and maintain a customer‑centered service culture by demonstrating proactive hospitality with prospects, residents, family members and fellow community associates.
Maintain an attractive community appearance and overall positive curb appeal.
Perform turnover of apartments, including trash out, cleaning, painting, carpet shampooing and other repairs as necessary or directed.
Ensure community and walkways are kept free of trash and cleared of safety hazards, especially ice and snow during the winter months.
Identify actual and potential maintenance problems, including potential liability and workplace hazards, take appropriate actions to handle the problems.
Document monthly visual inspections of property for defects, condition of roofs, gutters, downspouts, walkways, safety concerns, parking lot and apartments.
On‑call responsibility: must be available for emergency calls after hours and on weekends and holidays, or as assigned.
Maintain professional appearance with designated maintenance uniform required by company policy.
Utilize personal protective equipment to ensure safe work environment as required by company policy.
Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of common area space as directed.
Consistently maintain cleanliness of dumpster area.
Clean and maintain exterior and interior corridors.
Assist with any third‑party inspections as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
