Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Senior Server-Side Engineer to design, build, and operate backend platforms and shared services that enable other teams to deliver products.

This role focuses on high-throughput platform capabilities—routing, traffic management, data fan-out, caching, asynchronous job execution, and durable event processing—to handle very large traffic with predictable latency and minimal toil.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years backend, platform, or software engineering experience.
• Strong experience designing and building distributed systems and internal platforms.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, Scala, Rust, or C++.
• Hands-on with Kafka, Pulsar, NATS, or other event-driven technologies.
• Strong knowledge of relational, NoSQL, and search databases.
• Experience leading technical projects and collaborating across teams.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and mentoring skills.
