Job summary

Merkle Cardinal Path, a leading digital analytics and marketing firm, seeks a Manager, SEO to lead client relationships and execute high-quality SEO strategies. The role focuses on expert guidance, delivery excellence, and scalable processes across diverse accounts.

You will oversee audits, on-page and technical SEO, and coordinate with clients to implement best practices. Strong communication and a track record in technical SEO are essential.

Qualifications

• Passion for SEO and digital marketing with a solid understanding of interactive marketing channels (search, online media, website development, etc.) and brand marketing principles
• 5 years’ experience in search engine optimization
• Demonstrated, expert technical experience & knowledge of current SEO methodologies and implementation
• Advanced knowledge of Screaming Frog Spider, or other crawling software, SEO tools such as SEMRush, Majestic, aHrefs
• Expert experience in on-page optimization
• Ability to effectively manage a project timeline.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Adobe Analytics,Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools
• Deals well with the challenges of an internationally dispersed organization in a growing, dynamic company.
• Self-motivated, detail-and process-oriented, with excellent people and time management skills
• Use sound judgment to identify issues and elevate them when appropriate.
• Contribute to improvements in processes (technical or business) used by analysts.
• Ability to identify key needs or gaps and provide leadership to close those gaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEO strategy, audits, and all ongoing SEO monitoring for Cardinal Path clients.
• Manage a roster of clients utilizing your past experience with successful client relationships and account management.
• Prepare and develop comprehensiveon-page, offsite and technical SEO strategies.
• Expert knowledge, and experience with competitive analysis, international SEO, mobile, blended search optimization, voice, local search, search + AI, and semantic search
• Ability to communicate technical subjects and coordinate with clients to implement recommendations thatadhere toknownSEO best practices.
