Job summary

Bright Pink Agency is seeking a senior SEO Copywriter to own website copy from content plan to final client approval. You’ll split time between new website builds and retainer work, turning BrightStart plans into client-ready copy that ranks, fits the design, and reflects the brand voice.

You’ll collaborate with account managers, handle edits through approvals, and ensure SEO fundamentals are present from day one across blogs, localizations, and landing pages for national US brands.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of SEO copywriting across multiple client brands.
• Experience writing from Figma designs inside WordPress or a similar CMS.
• Range to shift voice and focus across concurrent projects and brands.

Responsibilities

• Review content plans before writing and flag gaps early.
• Write service, location, and other core page copy for new website builds.
• Handle retainer tasks: blogs, local page localizations, and landing pages.
• Apply SEO and AIO best practices: keywords, headings, metadata, internal links, FAQs, and E-E-A-T signals.
• Work directly with clients to capture their message, voice, and terminology.
• Fluency in American English and comfort writing for local US markets you may not live in.
• Push back on client requests that hurt performance, explain the tradeoff, and land on a solution they’re happy with.
• Own revisions through final client approval.
• Write to fit Figma designs and component limits without breaking the layout.
• Use AI tools for drafting and QA, and catch what they miss.
• Track your time accurately and flag delays or blockers early.

The Role

We’re hiring a senior SEO Copywriter to own website copy from content plan to final client approval.

You’ll split your time between new website builds and ongoing retainer accounts. On builds, you’ll take our BrightStart content plans and turn them into client-ready copy that ranks, fits the design, and sounds like the brand. On retainers, you’ll handle a steady flow of blogs, local page localizations, and landing pages.

You’ll partner with each brand’s account manager through every revision round and join client calls directly when needed. When a request works against SEO or AIO best practice, you explain why, recommend the stronger path, and still deliver something the client is happy with.

• SEO fundamentals from day one. Keyword placement, heading structure, and FAQ formatting already show up in your work without anyone needing to point them out.
• Copy that fits the first time. Your copy works within the design’s component limits, so it doesn’t come back for trimming or restructuring.
• Context-gathering on your own. Missing background? You ask the AM, check the docs, or join the client call instead of guessing.
• Independent, trusted work. You work without close oversight, and the team has confidence in what you deliver.
• Clients who trust your calls. They may push back, but they leave understanding the “why.”

What You Bring

• 3+ years of SEO copywriting across multiple client brands
• Working knowledge of AIO/GEO and how AI systems surface content
• Experience writing from Figma designs inside WordPress or a similar CMS
• Confidence presenting to clients and handling feedback
• Range to shift voice and focus across concurrent projects and brands
• A clear point of view on where AI tools help and where human editing takes over
• Strong self-management across builds and recurring retainer work

Bonus Points

• Franchise, multi-location, or home service experience
• Comfort reading SEMrush or Google Search Console data
• Experience building custom AI workflows for content QA or brand voice
