Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and maintaining the panelist database.

• Follow testing protocols and participate in training.
• Greet panelists and perform front desk duties as needed.
• Draft brief summaries of research findings.
• Handle administrative tasks and miscellaneous support.

Are you looking to grow your skills in sensory panel operations? Are you looking to work with some of the world's leading brands and products?

We’re hiring! The Consumer Innovation Center (CIC) in Atlanta is looking for an on-site full-time Senior Sensory Laboratory Technician to support our product testing operations. If you enjoy working in a hands-on environment, have a strong attention to detail and are curious about how food and beverage products are evaluated - this could be a great fit!

This role is onsite Monday-Friday, from 07:30am-15:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Help manage and maintain the panelist database
• Schedule sensory test and update testing calendar
• Set up and clean up sensory labs for each test
• Help prepare and serve samples during taste testing and product evaluations
• Follow specific testing protocols (don’t worry – we’ll train you!)
• Greet panelists, answer phones and other front desk duties
• Write brief summary reports on research findings
• Administrative work
• Additional support tasks as needed

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Prior experience in a sensory science/product testing environment
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition or related field
• Organized with strong attention to detail
• Computer literacy
• Experience in report writing
• Strong communication skills
