Job summary

Draper seeks a Senior Sensor Electronics Engineer to design, specify, develop, and test analog electronics across diverse applications. You will architect circuits, run simulations, layout boards, verify designs, and support life cycle activities from planning to sustainment.

The role requires a US government security clearance, 5–10 years of EE experience, and a strong background in analog front ends, signal conditioning, and radiation-hardened designs. Base salary ranges widely by location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in electrical engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Optimizes system designs for reduced size, weight, and power.
• Designs new products and develops technical specifications for production.
• Analyzes hardware configuration and tests hardware conformance to specs.
• Independently drives complex problems and adapts to changing requirements.
• SME able to develop advanced architectures and designs for complex electronics.
• Identifies risks and develops mitigation strategies.
