SciTec Incorporated is seeking talented software and algorithm developers in Boulder, CO to support defense programs with low-latency data processing and tracking algorithms. The role emphasizes Python and C++, Linux proficiency, and collaboration in small teams of scientists and engineers.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in a physical science, math, engineering, or CS, with 5+ years in tech fields and experience in state estimation or GNC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
• At least 5 years of ongoing professional experience in technological fields (additional education can substitute).
• Experience with state estimation, tracking, or GNC is preferred.
• 2+ years of academic or professional experience in C++ and Python.
• Fluency with Linux operating systems.
• Ability to work full-time in-person in Boulder, CO office location.

Responsibilities

• Research new algorithms and analysis techniques for remote sensor data exploitation.
• Demonstrate fluent, idiomatic mastery of Python and/or C++; comfort with software design and architecture.
• Develop and tune Kalman filtering, tracking, and data exploitation algorithms in Python and C++.
• Characterize quality/performance of algorithms and sensor systems.
• Work as part of an Agile team and contribute to shared tools.
• Other duties as assigned.
