Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. seeks a Lead Sensor Architect to own the end-to-end sensor strategy for next-generation client PC platforms.

You will define architecture, collaborate with silicon, OS teams, and drive power, performance and user-experience metrics across multiple sensor domains. The role requires translating market trends into production-ready sensor solutions, mentoring a growing team, and representing AMD at industry forums and with OEM/ODM partners.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end sensor strategy for client PC platforms (vision, camera, audio, environmental, biometric, haptics).
• Define architecture requirements for next-gen sensor subsystems (silicon IP, firmware, drivers, algorithms).
• Partner with silicon, platform, OS teams to optimize power, performance and UX metrics.
• Drive evaluations and proofs-of-concept for emerging sensing modalities.
• Establish sensor-related security, privacy, and quality standards across the org.
• Represent AMD in industry forums and with OEM/ODM partners to influence roadmaps.
