Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Semiconductor Software Engineer with 10+ years of industry experience to design, develop, and optimize software, firmware, and automation solutions that support semiconductor design, verification, manufacturing, and post-silicon validation.

The candidate should have deep expertise in C/C++, Python, EDA tools, hardware-software integration, and software architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including semiconductor or embedded systems environments.
• Expert-level programming in C, C++, and Python.
• Extensive experience with EDA tools, ASIC/SoC verification, silicon bring-up, or post-silicon validation.
• Strong hardware-software integration, embedded systems, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Scripting, automation frameworks, Linux development environments, HPC or cloud compute.
• Experience with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance software for semiconductor design, verification, and validation workflows.
• Architect and implement firmware, device drivers, and low-level software for silicon platforms.
• Develop scalable automation for EDA tools, build systems, and compute environments.
• Design and enhance post-silicon validation, debugging, and data analysis tools.
• Optimize software performance, reliability, and scalability across multicore and embedded systems.
• Collaborate with hardware, ASIC/FPGA, verification, and manufacturing teams for silicon bring-up and production.
• Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and establish software development best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to improve productivity and product quality.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and development guidelines.
