Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Sr Semiconductor Maintenance Technician at our Plymouth, MN on-site location. You will maintain and optimize semiconductor manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure high-quality production and efficiency.

You will report to the Maintenance Manager and collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to drive improvements and reliability in operations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or related technical certification in electronics, engineering technology, or a relevant field.
• Experience in semiconductor maintenance or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing complex semiconductor tools and systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and methodologies.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory requirements in semiconductor manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Document maintenance and repair activities accurately in maintenance logs.
• Work with engineering teams to improve equipment performance and efficiency.
• Participate in equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning activities.
• Monitor process performance and recommend adjustments to improve yield and efficiency.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure that all maintenance activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
• Assist in conducting safety audits and inspections.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to resolve issues.
• Communicate effectively with team members to share knowledge and best practices.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to keep skills up to date.
• Mentor junior technicians and support their development.
