Job summary

KBR is seeking a Geophysical Data Analyst at Patrick Space Force Base, FL, to support USNDC and USAEDS data analysis across seismic, hydroacoustic, and infrasonic datasets. The role involves evaluating regional data, refining analysis methods, and drafting scientific evaluations for senior staff while maintaining SCIF security requirements.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 6+ years of relevant experience, and a fully adjudicated TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with relevant geophysical analysis experience.
• 6+ years (AS) or 4+ years (BS) or 1+ year (MS) in similar tasks.
• Experience with seismic, hydroacoustic and infrasonic data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert testing of analysis tools after software modifications.
• Deliver detailed testing results to development teams.
• Perform seismic analysis for station tuning as ground truth for automation.
• Support seismic, infrasonic, and hydroacoustic data analyses.
• Analyze regional and teleseismic data for USAEDS.
• Read arrival times of seismic phases and locate epicenters.
• Assess data evaluation procedures and suggest improvements.
