Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree plus 7 years related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
  • Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience leading engineers/scientists on sediment remediation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise evaluating sediment remediation technologies and prepare designs for riverine, coastal, riparian/floodplain, and port sites.
  • Understand sediment transport, environmental site assessment, sampling/monitoring, cap modeling, dredge approaches, remedial action design/ construction.
  • Support mathematical/statistical evaluations of environmental data sets.
  • Serve as task manager on sediment sites, communicating strategy to client and coordinating with SMEs.
  • Lead staff in preparing/reviewing technical documents to ensure regulatory compliance and quality.
  • Liaise with clients, public, and outside consultants to convey complex evaluations clearly.
