Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a mid- to senior-level Sediment Remediation Engineer to lead projects and mentor junior staff on sediment remediation assignments for Federal and Public sector clients.

The ideal candidate will apply expertise in remediation technologies, regulatory frameworks (CERCLA/GLLA), and data analysis to develop practical designs and provide clear client communication. Domestic and international travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating sediment remediation technologies and preparing designs for riverine, coastal, riparian/floodplain, and/or port sites.
• Leading a team and communicating technical strategies to the client and stakeholders.
• Applying regulatory knowledge of CERCLA, GLLA and other programs at contaminated sediment sites.
• Supporting data analysis and statistical evaluations of environmental data sets.
