Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a mid- to senior-level Sediment Remediation Engineer to lead projects involving sediment cleanup technologies and designs for diverse aquatic environments. The role requires independent work and team leadership across government and public-sector clients.

The candidate should have a PE license and at least seven years of related experience; travel may be required, and experience with CERCLA and regulatory processes is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering. PE license required.
• 7 years of related experience. Travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise evaluating feasibility of sediment remediation technologies and design for riverine, coastal, riparian/floodplain, and port sites.
• Lead and manage staff on sediment sites, communicating strategy to clients and team.
• Lamiliar with CERCLA, GLLA and regulatory steps at contaminated sediment sites.
