Job summary

Chenega Security SBU is seeking an ESS Training Lab Manager to lead operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of a hands-on training facility for electronic security systems. You will be the primary technical lead, ensuring access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, networking, and server systems remain fully operational to support instruction.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent military training/certifications.
Eight+ years of experience supporting electronic security systems and related environments.
Three+ years of experience managing a lab, training facility, or complex system environment.
Experience installing/configuring maintaining security systems, servers, workstations, and network infrastructure.
Successfully pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain the ESS Training Lab and associated training systems.
Coordinate preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, and replacements.
Support instructors by preparing lab environments, equipment, and practical exercises.
Manage training schedules, resources, student records, and facility utilization.
Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, project personnel, and customer representatives.
