Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Security Systems Engineer 5 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

You will design, implement, and sustain enterprise security and IT systems, including access control, video, IT networks, and data center infrastructure, for federal, local, and commercial customers. Role requires hands-on system integration, strong problem-solving, and the ability to lead tasks with independent execution while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise security systems design, implementation, and sustainment.
• Ability to lead tasks independently across multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with ICD 705 and government security standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and remediate complex systems availability, performance, and security issues in mission-critical environments.
• Assist with analysis, evaluation, engineering, and deployment of system improvements and automation.
• Document designs, changes, and SOPs for infrastructure environments.
