Job summary

System High Corporation is seeking a Senior Security Specialist (DOD/SCI) in Linthicum, MD to join a DoD-focused security team. You will contribute to cyber investigations, forensics, and threat analysis while ensuring compliance with security policies.

You will administer security programs, coordinate personnel security, and manage visitor control, training, and documentation for classified information. A strong background in security operations is essential.

Qualifications

Individuals who are passionate about cybersecurity, committed to excellence, and eager to make a meaningful impact are encouraged to apply.Executes administration and coordination of DC3 security programs to ensure compliance with Department of Defense and DC3 security policies and procedures with minimal supervision.Ensures compliance with security standards and provides guidance and support to staff members concerning all security administrative functions such as personnel security, information and system security, COMSEC, physical security and Industrial Security for the processing of DD FM 254s.Provides administrative security support associated with the receipt, distribution, inventory, reproduction, and disposition of classified material.Experience administering Document Control program.Reviews applications for security clearances and clearance renewals.Administers and maintains physical security procedures for visitor control, employee identification and safeguard of company facilities, equipment, materials, and employee property.Develops and conducts security briefings and security education programs.Provides oversight for programs for the protection of classified information as well as proprietary information.Assists with preparation, transmittal, and receipt of visitor certifications.Process incoming VARs via DISS or other transmissions.Experience administering DISS (Defense Information System for Security), (NBIS) National Background Investigation Services, and e-QIP as well as Continuous Enrollment (CE) program.Periodically inspects the facility to ensure physical security measures are followed as well as daily EOD checks.Contributes to development, review, and disposition of standing operating procedures and continuous improvement initiatives for SCIFs and other TS level requirements.Create and processes new hire badges and accesses.Assembles new hire packages and training material for incoming personnel.Work with Partner Engagement for visitor registration and check in for high level meetings to include foreign visitors.Other duties as assigned.Associates degree and 10+ years of experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience; OR Master’s Degree and 6+ years of experience; OR 3 years with PhD. However, four (4) years of additional relevant experience or specialized training will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.Active TS/SCI Clearance.Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of Federal and/or DoD security policies and procedures.Experience using the following systems: DISS, NBIS, CCTV Software, Access Control Software, Intrusion Detection Systems, FVS (Foreign Visitor System), JWICS/SIPR workstations, Scattered Castles, RAT (Risk Assessment Tool), Microsoft Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.), CDSE Account, and Document Control Software.Detail oriented customer service professional.Knowledge or experience with SCIF Accreditation preferred.Currently have or the ability to obtain DoD SPeD certification within 1 year of program start.Additional InformationThis job description is not designed to cover or contain all job duties required of the employee.
