Arete Associates seeks a Senior Security Specialist to implement the industrial security program at the Northridge facility. You will coordinate DoD security programs, process clearances, document control, and physical security to safeguard sensitive information.

The role requires applying OPSEC and NISPOM standards, training staff, and guiding management on security matters. Based in Northridge, CA, this non-exempt full-time position offers substantial growth and impact.

Qualifications

• Thorough working knowledge of NISPOM and DoD guidance.
• Experience with SF forms and security classifications.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• Self-starter with customer-service orientation and policy application.
• Strong communication with internal teams and government.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Arete personnel and government management to ensure contract security compliance.
• Conduct self-inspections, apply risk mitigation, support customer assessments and security measures.
• Make trusted security decisions to prevent unauthorized access to facilities or information.
• Provide clear guidance to employees and suggest operational policy changes as needed.
• Develop and deliver security training and awareness with the Corporate Facility Security Officer.
