Job summary

PRA Group is seeking an experienced security architect to design and monitor access controls and safeguards protecting PRAA information systems assets. You will collaborate with product vendors, IT teams and business units to evaluate technologies, detect incidents and implement security software across platforms.

Ideal candidates have 7-9 years in security design, CISSP/SSCP, and strong knowledge of IDS/IPS, firewalls, forensic tools and cloud security strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; Master's preferred.
• 7-9 years in security design, configuration, troubleshooting, and using diagnostic tools.
• Required CISSP and SSCP certifications.
• Desirable CCNA-Security, SANS/GIAC, PCNSE certifications.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, threat signatures, and IDS/IPS.
• Experience with network infrastructure, firewalls, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain security guidelines and infrastructure.
• Develop penetration testing procedures and threat detection.
• Maintain alerting, archival and event log management systems.
• Monitor compliance with security policies and identify violations.
• Conduct data security forensic analyses and coordinate safeguards.
• Coordinate access for applications and prepare monthly security reports.
• Architect security for cloud solutions and DevSecOps environments.
• Lead security in applications development and database design.
