Job summary

SpyCloud seeks a software developer to build internal tooling for recaptured underground data and to deploy cloud infrastructure using IaC. You will collaborate with the research team to enhance data collection and automate CI/CD for tooling and infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of software development experience, strong Python skills, and comfort with analyzing threat data. Fully remote role with hybrid-friendly options in a security-forward environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in cybersecurity.
• Strong Python programming skills; Golang proficiency is a plus.
• Experience building internal tooling and deploying using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Math, Science, Engineering, or Business.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision and strong communication.
• Team player with collaborative problem-solving and curiosity.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain internal tooling for acquiring and parsing recaptured underground data.
• Build and deploy cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code technologies.
• Build and deploy automated CI/CD pipelines to test and deploy tooling and infrastructure.
• Collaborate directly with the research team to support targeting and collection of new data sources.
• Identify improvements and automation opportunities in recaptured data workflow and ETL pipelines.
• Participate in security research including investigation of threat actors, malware, and related research.
