Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Sr. Manager, Security Operations based in Raleigh, NC, with a hybrid work model (4 days in office, 1 day remote).

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity with emphasis on incident response and threat intelligence.
• Proven leadership in security architectures, tools, cloud, governance, or risk management.
• Strong background in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, ITIL, Agile).
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK).
• Familiarity with security technologies (SIEM, SOAR, EDR; cloud security tools).
• Excellent communication and leadership to align across security, IT, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mature the Security Operations Center capabilities.
• Oversee 24x7 security monitoring, triage, analysis and response.
• Develop and execute roadmaps for security operations, detection engineering, threat hunting, and maturity.
• Establish and track KPIs and operational metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement of security operations processes, procedures, workflows and automation.
• Own and manage the enterprise Cybersecurity Incident Response Program; act as Incident Commander during high-severity events.
• Lead response for ransomware, malware outbreaks, BEC, credential theft, cloud compromise and major incidents.
• Coordinate containment, eradication, recovery and business restoration; lead executive communications.
• Drive threat intelligence improvements; lead threat hunting; collaborate with external partners.
• Lead tabletop exercises and cyber crisis simulations; maintain actionable playbooks.
