Job summary

Threat Tec, LLC, a rapidly growing Veteran-Owned Business, is seeking a Security Specialist to help protect government facilities by enforcing access protocols and responding to security hazards. Two levels of responsibility (Level I and Level II) exist based on experience and leadership capability.

You will detect and report threats, coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services, and help maintain a safe, secure environment while supporting mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Level I: 3+ years in a government or industry security role.
• Level II: 5+ years in a similar role with supervisory or site leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rigorous control over all access points to Government areas in accordance with procedures.
• Actively detect, deter, and report threats including intrusions, suspicious activity, civil disorder, and fire hazards.
• For teams with multiple Access Monitors, one individual will serve in a lead capacity to coordinate and guide the team.
• Work closely with law enforcement agencies and emergency responders, including Military Police, County Sheriff’s Department, City Police, and other emergency response teams.
• Provide support to emergency services within contractual limits to ensure timely intervention and assistance.

This role includes two levels of responsibility (Level I and Level II) based on experience and leadership capability. You will be trusted to detect and report threats, coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services, and help maintain a safe, secure environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain rigorous control over all access points to Government areas in accordance with established procedures.
• Actively detect, deter, and report threats including intrusions, suspicious activity, civil disorder, and fire hazards.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience Requirements

• Level I: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a government or industry role similar to a Security Access Monitor.
• Level II: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, including supervisory or site leadership experience.

Security Clearance

• Must have and maintain an active final SECRET security clearance.
• Select candidates may require Top Secret clearance or at minimum TS/SCI eligibility.

Technical Skills

• Working knowledge of MS Office, CCTV operations, and Alarm Monitoring Station software.

$60,000 - $80,000 a year

Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors including experience, education, certificates, security clearance requirements, internal equity, and customer or contract requirements.
