Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is seeking a Security Officer at the Charleston Job Corps Center in Charleston, WV. You will perform security duties, supervise staff, and protect life and property, in accordance with regulations and directives.

Responsibilities include staff training, incident reporting, policy development, and fire safety oversight. A high school diploma and 1 year supervisory experience are required along with a valid driver's license.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent and one year supervision experience.
• Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency required.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

• Provide staff training and evaluate staff performance.
• Review incident reports for completeness, conciseness, proper spelling, and grammar, prior to distribution.
• Assist with developing new and revised policies and procedures security.
• Supervise the investigation of student and staff accidents, ensure all paperwork is complete.
• Provide fire protection, conduct frequent fire drills and inspections of the facility.

Wage - $17.66 per hour

Schedule - Full Time, 8-hour shifts, 2nd shifts and days vary with occasional overtime.

What you will be doing:

You'll perform security officer duties and provide supervision to staff to protect life and property against theft, misappropriation, fire, flood, or similar disasters and act as liaison with security and law enforcement agencies, in compliance with federal, state and local regulation, government and management directives.

Education And Experience Requirements
