Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Emergency Management, Public Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years in security management with 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience building and implementing security programs, emergency plans, and procedures in 24/7 environments.
• Experience managing use-of-force programs, investigations, training, and reporting.
• Ability to obtain a federal security clearance (Tier 4 DHS).
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to relocate to the Alexandria, LA area (relocation not provided).
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the facility's Security and Safety Supervision Plan.
• Ensure compliance with federal, ICE, PREA/SAAPI standards and facility policies.
• Serve as primary security contact and coordinate with government and facility leadership.
• Oversee security operations, access control, and post coverage across all shifts.
• Direct incident reporting, investigations, and use-of-force reviews.
• Prepare security training, logs, schedules, and contract deliverables.
• Act as Incident Commander in emergencies and coordinate with first responders.
• Promote a security culture with staff and residents.
