Job summary

Roblox is seeking a seasoned Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) leader to join the Information Security organization in San Mateo, CA. You will own program areas, partner across engineering, legal, and finance, and drive risk-informed decisions through policies and controls.

You will shape GRC at scale, design automated risk management tooling, and deliver policy lifecycle governance while educating teams and safeguarding Roblox’s metaverse and community.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of governance, risk and compliance experience.
• Experience interfacing with software engineers.
• Experience assessing adherence to policies and remediation plans.
• Deep understanding of risk assessment and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to educate organizations on security concepts.
• Technical background with ability to interface with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more program areas in our Governance, Risk, and Compliance team.
• Be a key contributor to the larger Information Security Organization.
• Partner with GRC, Infosec and Engineering to design a risk-first governance function.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and drive automation.
• Write, revise, and manage information security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Identify and assess information security risks and implement controls.
• Be a subject matter expert in GRC and educate others.
• Be part of Roblox community and secure the metaverse.
