Panera Bread is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise security across endpoints, identity, cloud, network, and secure-access environments. This hands-on role collaborates with Infrastructure, Cloud, Networking, Development, Service Desk, and Security Operations to strengthen the organization's security posture.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in endpoint protection, identity security, Zero Trust, monitoring, and cloud security, and will expand

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in cybersecurity, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years in IT security, infrastructure, endpoint engineering, or cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience in two or more areas: endpoint security, IAM, monitoring, cloud security, or network security.
• Experience supporting enterprise endpoint, identity, networking, or security technologies.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, MFA, IAM, VPNs, and incident-response basics.
• Experience with security automation, scripting, APIs, or IaC.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and document solutions.
• Strong communication with security, infrastructure, support, development, and business teams.

Responsabilités

• Design and support security solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Develop security standards, architectures, configurations, and controls.
• Engineer solutions for Zero Trust, endpoint protection, identity security, secure access, cloud security, threat detection, and network segmentation.
• Evaluate security technologies and document requirements, risks, and implementation recommendations.
• Monitor and investigate security events across endpoint, identity, network, and cloud.
• Support containment, evidence collection, root-cause analysis, remediation, and incident reporting.
• Create and maintain security documentation, dashboards, metrics, procedures, and runbooks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and security-service providers during investigations.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring security operations.
