Senior Security Engineer
Minerva Cyber Technologies is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to implement and improve cybersecurity controls across enterprise networks, endpoints, identity services, and cloud environments. You will translate security requirements into maintainable configurations and help operations teams keep protections working.
What You Will Do
- Configure and tune network, endpoint, identity, and cloud security controls within approved designs.
- Integrate security tools and telemetry with SIEM monitoring, asset inventory, and ticketing workflows.
- Review firewall rules, remote access, privileged access management (PAM), and secure configuration baselines.
- Diagnose control failures and coordinate changes, testing, rollback plans, and documentation.
- Validate remediation and provide technical evidence for security assessments and security authorization.
Required Qualifications
- Senior-level experience implementing and supporting production security infrastructure.
- Practical knowledge of networking, Windows or Linux systems, identity and access management (IAM) controls, and cloud fundamentals.
- Ability to troubleshoot security tool integrations and automate repeatable tasks with scripts.
- Experience using change control, configuration documentation, and operational handoffs.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with firewalls, endpoint detection and response (EDR), SIEM, identity platforms, vulnerability management tools, or cloud security posture management (CSPM).
- CISSP, security-focused vendor certifications, or comparable engineering depth.
