Job summary

Blaze Credit Union is seeking an experienced Information Security professional to design, implement, and maintain robust security solutions protecting our information assets. The role requires hands-on experience with security technologies, strong cybersecurity knowledge, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and safeguard systems.

The position is full-time and on-site at our Westminster Administrative office in St Paul, MN, with responsibilities spanning policy

Qualifications

• Minimum High School degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s preferred.
• 4+ years in Information Security, preferably in financial services.
• Security+/CySA+/Pentest+/Microsoft or similar certifications preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Identity access management.
• Advanced knowledge of Data security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security infrastructure (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs) and protect networks and data.
• Develop and enforce security policies, incident response plans, access controls and awareness training.
• Implement and advise on identity management and data security best practices.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate weaknesses.
• Monitor security tools, coordinate incident response, and investigate breaches.
