Job summary

Softrams, a Tria Federal company, seeks a Senior Security Engineer to lead security operations, risk tracking, and documentation for federal programs. Candidates should manage security programs, implement SOC processes, and drive compliance across multiple projects.

Position requires CISSP, FedRAMP/A‌TO experience, and strong scripting with Python/Bash/PowerShell. Occasional travel to Baltimore or Arlington offices may be needed; remote work options exist within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, technology, data science, statistics, analytics, or related field.
• Experience with FedRAMP, ATO processes, and NIST 800-53 controls.
• Able to obtain U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, implement, and monitor security measures for systems, networks, and information.
• Identify and define system security requirements.
• Design secure architecture and develop cyber security designs.
• Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
• Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices.
• Develop security tools to mitigate vulnerabilities and automate tasks.
• Maintain security documentation and ASOs including SSP/PIA.
