Command Post Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Engineer in Orlando, FL to support the NCRC Range Modernization program. The role involves senior-level development, testing, and security support for designated product scrum teams.

The position requires US citizenship with an active security clearance, a BS in a relevant field, and strong scripting, Linux/Windows experience. Expect hands-on patching, vulnerability management, and security architecture work within a DoD context.

Qualifications

• US citizen with active security clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Experience with Linux and Windows systems.
• Proficient in scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, Bash.

Responsibilities

• Implement patching procedures across Linux, Windows, VMware, and Cisco platforms.
• Run and review vulnerability scans and STIGs; prioritize remediation.
• Automate patching across multiple OSes to improve security posture.
• Secure and harden hardware and software systems; maintain governance and compliance.
• Develop security policies, procedures, and standards; perform risk assessments.
• Design and manage security solutions (SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IAM, VPN).
• Create data flow and system boundary diagrams; advise on DoD RMF practices.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and support audits.
