Job summary

Zoox is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to design and deploy detection, automation, and AI-enhanced incident response for security operations. You will lead detection engineering, build automation pipelines, and integrate LLMs to improve alert triage and response.

Ideal candidates have deep experience with SIEM, SOAR, Python, AWS, and security incident lifecycles, and enjoy treating security operations as code in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Information Security or DevSecOps roles.
• Hands-on with Splunk or ElasticSIEM for log analysis.
• Proven Python and API automation experience.
• Experience building SOAR playbooks.
• Experience with LLM APIs for security workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain high-fidelity detection logic in SIEM.
• Architect automated playbooks in SOAR and connect tools via REST APIs.
• Develop AI-enabled workflows using LLMs to triage alerts.
• Lead incident response for AWS and on-prem environments; conduct post-incident reviews.
