Job summary

SEON, a fraud prevention platform, seeks a Senior Security Engineer to secure its multi-region AWS-based services. You will own and automate compliance controls, build evidence pipelines, and lead major assurance programs (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS) for regulated clients worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security engineering with hands-on AWS experience (IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, WAF).
• Proficient in Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
• Python or similar language for automation and alert enrichment.
• Experience leading ISO 27001 or SOC 2 programs.
• Experience with customer security questionnaires and vendor reviews.
• Excellent written English for auditors, engineers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Build evidence pipelines against AWS, GitHub, CI/CD and identity tooling so controls are verified by code.
• Automate access reviews across AWS IAM, Google Workspace, GitHub and core SaaS tools.
• Harden and remediate IAM at scale with short-lived, scoped identities.
• Ship Terraform and CI guardrails: secret scanning, policy checks, signed images, enforced baselines.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
• Write and tune detections across CloudTrail, GuardDuty, WAF and Kubernetes signals.
• Lead ISO 27001, ISO 42001, SOC 2 and PCI DSS programs.
• Own customer security questionnaires and vendor reviews.
• Translate upcoming obligations (DORA, EU AI Act) into engineering work.
