Job summary

Vytwo is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer to join the Security Operations & Engineering team. You will operate and enhance security platforms spanning Cloud, Endpoint, Data, IAM, Network, Email, and Application Security to protect the company’s systems and data.

In this hybrid Dallas role, you’ll partner with IT, the CISO, business units, and third parties to engineer secure solutions, respond to incidents, develop KPIs, and drive governance and audits such as PCI DSS 4.0.1

Qualifications

Must have direct operational ownership of security platforms/systems (cloud security, anti-malware, EDR, SASE/CASB, DLP, IAM, email security).
Experience with SSO/MFA, IAM reviews, and security tooling integration.
Familiarity with MSSP/24x7 SOC and SIEM (SecurityHQ, DataDog).
Experience with architecture diagrams (LucidChart/Visio).
Scripting in Python/PowerShell for AWS and security APIs is a plus.

Responsibilities

Security Operations and Engineering (80%)—keep platforms available and well-maintained.
Triage and respond to alerts from SOC/SIEM, including after-hours work when needed.
Lead investigations and provide technical stewardship across platforms.
Develop KPIs and governance to align with PCI DSS 4.0.1 and SOC 2 Type II.
Mentor peers and drive adoption of secure engineering patterns.
