Daylight seeks a Senior Security Engineer to join a globally distributed security engineering team. You will design and implement detection logic, investigate alerts, and automate response mechanisms.

As an early hire, you’ll work with platform and AI teams to shape autonomous threat detection and response at scale. You will lead investigations across cloud, endpoint, and network, build scalable detections, and develop Go-based automation for enrichment, containment, and remediation.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in detection engineering, incident response, or blue team roles.
• Experience automating response systems and workflows.
• Familiarity with detecting/responding in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Practical DFIR experience: logs, memory, containers, cloud.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and threat modeling.

• Lead investigations: triage, analyze, and respond to alerts with automation-first principles.
• Build detections: write detection logic and behavioral rules as code.
• Automate response workflows: Go-based enrichment, containment, and remediation playbooks.
• Define detection-as-code practices with testing, CI/CD, and version control.

• Support DFIR: incident investigations and post-incident reviews.
