Responsibilities

• Secure and enhance Azure-based cloud infrastructure and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Lead security initiatives supporting enterprise AI tools and Copilot.
• Manage incident response, threat remediation, and vulnerability programs.
• Ensure regulatory/privacy compliance (HIPAA, PCI, CCPA).
• Evaluate new cybersecurity technologies and security controls.
• Partner with infrastructure, application, and leadership teams to strengthen security posture.
• Support security awareness programs and phishing simulations.
• Guide long-term security roadmap planning.

This is a unique opportunity to join a lean, high-impact team where you'll help shape security strategy, protect sensitive data, and influence the secure adoption of emerging technologies. This role offers a remote flexible schedule of 1 day onsite a week in Seattle.

What You’ll Do

• Secure and enhance Azure-based cloud infrastructure and Microsoft 365 environments
• Lead security initiatives supporting enterprise AI tools, including Copilot and AI-powered applications
• Manage incident response activities, threat remediation efforts, and vulnerability management programs
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and privacy requirements including HIPAA, PCI, and CCPA
• Evaluate, test, and recommend new cybersecurity technologies and security controls
• Partner with infrastructure, application, and leadership teams to strengthen security posture across the organization
• Support security awareness programs, phishing simulations, and cybersecurity best practices training
• Help guide long-term cybersecurity roadmap planning and modernization efforts

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering or information security experience
• Strong Azure cloud security expertise
• Experience securing Microsoft environments and cloud-first infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with tools such as: Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Intune, Purview, Exchange Online
• Vulnerability management, operations and incident response and remediation programs
• Experience securing AI-enabled technologies and AI governance initiatives
• HIPAA, PCI, and/or CCPA compliance experience
• Knowledge of security compliance frameworks and regulated environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
