Job Description

We seek a Senior Security Engineer to lead our security initiatives. This role offers an opportunity to leverage your security experience, collaborate with engineering leadership, and promote security awareness throughout the company. Experience with early-stage companies is a plus.

What you'll be doing

1. Refining and executing the security strategy
2. Maintaining security policies and processes
3. Managing compliance programs like PCI-DSS, SOC1/2, GDPR
4. Driving application and web security initiatives
5. Serving as a security consultant in design reviews
6. Promoting secure coding and SDLC best practices
7. Managing penetration testing and bug bounty programs
8. Evaluating security technologies for defenses and monitoring
9. Integrating security controls across cloud-native and third-party tools
10. Conducting infrastructure and vendor security audits
11. Securing GCP, AWS, and On-Premise environments with the infrastructure team
12. Implementing security best practices for Kubernetes and Istio
13. Managing security incident response systems

What we are looking for

1. 7+ years of experience in information security
2. Leadership experience in security efforts
3. Proficiency in scripting or programming languages
4. Experience with cloud platforms like GCP or AWS
5. Knowledge of cryptography, PKI, TLS
6. Familiarity with static and dynamic code analysis tools
7. Experience with APIs
8. Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Bonus skills

1. Experience in financial payments technology
2. Knowledge of SpringBoot, Kubernetes, Istio
3. Experience with big data tools like BigQuery
