The position involves developing security investigation logic and pipelines, analyzing AI-generated investigations, resolving product issues, and translating findings into technical improvements. The successful candidate will contribute directly to a Python codebase, influence architecture and product direction, collaborate with go-to-market and customer success teams, and provide technical leadership to other engineers. Experience with SOAR, threat hunting, security automation, and modern investigation techniques is central to this role.

What You'll Do
  • Own the quality of AI-powered security investigations, ensuring accurate, timely, and actionable investigation reports.
  • Develop and improve security investigation workflows that support automated alert analysis and threat detection.
  • Build integrations with security tools to expand investigation capabilities and improve automated security operations.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs affecting investigation workflows, security integrations, and product functionality.
  • Develop and refine investigation logic and processing pipelines to support new categories of security alerts.
  • Balance investigation accuracy, system performance, and long-term maintainability when designing and improving security workflows.
  • Contribute production-quality Python code to implement security features, investigation improvements, and technical enhancements.
  • Influence architectural decisions and long-term product strategy through hands-on security engineering expertise.
  • Review and analyze investigations performed by AI systems to identify strengths, weaknesses, accuracy issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate investigation findings and technical analysis into product enhancements that improve security detection and response capabilities.

  • Technical understanding of security tooling, security products, or SOAR environments, supported by relevant hands-on experience.
  • Ability to assess investigation quality, identify technical weaknesses, and translate findings into practical engineering improvements.
  • Comfort working in an early-stage startup environment with evolving requirements and significant ambiguity.
  • Ability to execute quickly, work independently, and turn ambiguous technical challenges into completed features that deliver measurable value.
