Job summary

RAE Security is seeking a Senior Security Design Engineer to design, implement, and maintain low voltage security systems including card access control and CCTV. You will produce CAD/REVIT drawings, construct BOMs, and provide installation details for commercial projects.

You will liaise with sales, operations, and clients, manage multiple projects, and ensure drawings and documentation meet security standards.

Qualifications

Proficient in CAD/REVIT for security design projects.
Minimum 5 years designing low-voltage security systems.
Strong understanding of card access and video surveillance components.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Experience with ACC/Autodesk design processes preferred.
Basic understanding of electrified door hardware.
Applications engineering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide support in the design and development of Access Control and Video Surveillance security systems per client standards.
Create detailed system flow diagrams, rack elevations, and functional data for security systems.
Develop and maintain construction drawings and project documentation for security infrastructure.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT) as the primary design tool.
Participate in project meetings with internal teams and clients to review documentation and schedules.
Organize and maintain all job-related documentation per policy.
