Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Security Control Assessor II to conduct comprehensive assessments of security controls for information systems, including SAP/SCI environments, to determine effectiveness and identify weaknesses. The role requires 7+ years of related experience and US citizenship with TS/SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience in SAP, SCI or Collateral IS Security and the implementation of regulations identified in the description of duties.
• Prior performance in the role of an ISSO and ISSM or SCA
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or Associate’s degree in a related area + 2 years’ experience or equivalent experience (4 years)

Responsibilities

• Perform oversight of the development, implementation and evaluation of IS security program policy; special emphasis placed upon integration of existing SAP network infrastructure.
• Perform assessment of ISs based upon RMF methodology in accordance with JSIG.
• Advise the ISO, IDO, PSO, and DAO/AO on assessment and authorization issues.
• Evaluate Authorization packages and make recommendation to the AO/DAO for authorization.
• Evaluate IS threats and vulnerabilities to determine additional safeguards are required.
